Heartworms (up to 30cm long in dogs) live in the heart and blood vessels of the lungs, interfering with circulation and damaging tissues. This may eventually cause heart failure. Left untreated, this can result in the death of your dog.

Directions
The usual dose in dogs up to 11kg is 68mcg – 1 cube from blue pack, for 12 to 22 kg is 136mcg – 1 cube from green pack and for 23 to 45 kg is 272mcg – 1 cube from brown pack. Dogs over 45 kg are given a combination of the tablets.

| Precautions | As macrocyclic lactones may have some effects against adult heartworms, veterinarians are advised to be cautious when treating active or working dogs with a diagnosed heartworm infection. When used as directed, there is a wide margin of safety in all breeds of dogs, including stud dogs, breeding bitches and puppies 6 weeks of age and older. Can be administered to dogs of negative, positive or unknown heartworm status. However, as heartworms can have serious effects on the health of dogs, testing by a veterinarian before initiating heartworm prevention is recommended. Dogs with evidence of an existing heartworm infection should only be treated under the supervision of a veterinarian.Poisonous if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes.
