| Indications | Use in conjunction with high grain diets to reduce the risk of laminitis. The special granular formula is targeted to control the activity of bacteria in the hindgut that ferment starches and sugars producing excessive acidity. Without Founderguard, uncontrolled rapid fermentation results in a build up of lactic acid in the gut, which can increase the risk of laminitis (founder). Regular daily use of Founderguard therefore minimises the harmful side effects of grain feeding. |
