The Chlorhexidine in PYOHEX CONDITIONER works by binding to hair to eliminate bacteria in situ. Chlorhexidine kills bacteria by disrupting the cell membrane and precipitating the cell contents.
PYOHEX CONDITIONER binds strongly to the skin and hair, resulting in up to 14 days residual action. As Chlorhexidine is poorly absorbed through the skin, PYOHEX CONDITIONER is completely safe when used as directed.
PYOHEX CONDITIONER is a leave-on medicated, coat conditioning lotion designed to be used in conjunction with Dermcare Pyohex Medicated Shampoo or other appropriate product, as recommended by your Veterinarian.
PYOHEX CONDITIONER is pH neutral, specifically designed for canine skin.
